I left my teaching job in January to start Grad School; then... COVID. I was working part time at a theatre in DC, but of course... COVID. Thankfully I am in a serious creative mode right now or I would have gone crazy the first week home.
But, I am sane. I've been able to write, create, and refine my skills (Which is a constant thing... You never "arrive" in music). A conversation with my dad two months ago started MMwJ. "Use your skills and talents to do something for the community." Virtual learning is hard, especially when you are used to the classroom. And now it's summer and all the camps are online... Bleh... But how could I help without adding an extra burden of cost?
I slept on it, and the next morning God blessed me with the concept and name, "Music Matters with JAQ."
So, hello and welcome. Do stay a while.
